FTV Proclad (Singapore) Pte Ltd

FTV Proclad (Singapore) PTE LTD's new facility was set up in 2004 to service oil and tools equipment manufacturing by offering precision machining, cladding, and heat treatment. The facility employs the latest CNC machining equipment such as horizontal and vertical boring equipment and the latest CNC weld cladding and post weld heat treatment equipment.

The company provides services such as precision machining and weld cladding of oil tool equipment such as composite blocks of various shapes and sizes with gate valves, ball valves, and all other types of oil field equipment.

We also supply hot induction for 3D and 5D pipe bends in a large number of grades ranging from carbon to duplex stainless steel and austenitic grades. Hot induction bends for 2" - 30" diameters of 3D pipe bends and 5D radiuses. Weld overlay cladding of pipe and all piping component

Proclad Pipe Ltd

Proclad Pipe has developed a Hydroforming process which optimises quality and guarantees 100% residual contact between the CRA liner and the carbon steel outer pipe. This unique process when coupled with our state of the art weld overlay techniques offers our clients a cost effective engineering solution for flowline applications.

We offer this product in base material grades API 5LX 52 to X70, with a variety of corrosion resistant alloy liners of  in sizes ranging from 114 to 508mm diameter, with thickness range between 6 to 50mm. 

FTV Proclad (U.A.E) LLC

FTV Proclad (U.A.E.) L.L.C. is part of the Proclad Group that is specialized in providing total engineering and corrosion solution for all types of oilfields valves, pumps and wellhead equipment. FTV Proclad (U.A.E.) L.L.C has developed its expertise in valves/wellhead equipment manufacturing, upgrade and repair, CNC machining, field assistance, welding, testing and installation, weld overlay cladding and HVOF coating.

In addition to the above workshop activities, FTV Proclad (U.A.E.) L.L.C. has expanded its business to provide on-site valves repair and refurbishment services during plant shutdowns and annual Turnarounds. This service is now provided through a well-equipped Containerized Workshop mobilized to the site of the end-user to minimize wasted time and meet planned shutdown schedule.

Recently, FTV Proclad (U.A.E.) L.L.C has acquired High Pressure Water Jetting Units (up to 2500 bar) and the expertise of a well-established and experienced local company, mainly to provide Water Jetting business in a most professional way, especially to the Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and the Water & Power sectors.

FTV Proclad LLC

FTV Proclad L.L.C strategically placed location provides services and support directly to the regional clients. The UAE facility is the largest clad facility and offers additional services of shop pre-spooling, site welding, valve repair, valve refurbishment, heat treatment, protective spray coating and CNC machining.

The company provides variety of solutions such as:

• Manufacture of clad pipes (metallurgical bonded) from 6" to all sizes.
• Manufacture of clad lined pipe (mechanically bonded) from 4" and above in 12 meter lengths.
• Manufacture of clad fittings from 2" to all sizes.
• Manufacture of clad flanges from 2" to all sizes.
• Manufacture of ASME code clad nozzles from 2" to all sizes.
• Manufacture of valve components: body, bonnet, nozzles, disc, gate, seat, stem, etc. for gate/ globe / check valves, X-MAS trees, etc. up to 15,000 psig to API 6A.
• Valve repair services, including the repair and remanufacture of valves, mud pumps, sea water pumps, BOPs, etc.
• Manufacture of oil field equipment: tubing head spool, flanges, tees, cross, adaptors, casing / tubing hangers, etc. to API 6A/ 16A.
• Clad spool fabrication.
• Post-weld heat treatment up to 750 degree Celsius with 5.8 x 3 x 3 meter furnace

Innovative Tooling Solutions

The ITS Controlled Boring Product Range comprises a number of highly efficient Controlled Boring Bars and Contouring Heads which can be used to carry out a wide variety of complex precision machining operations from a single tool setup.

Each incorporates a precision internal mechanism, which is actuated via the CNC controls of the machine tool to precisely control the radial movement of the cutters during the actual machining cycle.

With the advanced CNC controls now standard on most machine tools, it is therefore possible to programme ITS equipped machines not only for multiple diameter changes, but also for automatic machining of complex geometries such as: tapers, radii, chamfers, threading and grooving in a single set up.

This dramatically reduces the time consuming tool changes and secondary operations, bringing vastly increased productivity to the cutting edge.

ProInspection is a newly developed company within the Proclad group providing a competitive mechanical testing and metallurgical testing service to other companies within the group and to external clients. The mission statement of the company is aimed at ensuring the rigorous demands of modern client specifications and international standards are met. The small team of dedicated highly motivated personnel provides a level of service that meets the tight schedules demanded by an ever increasing market. 

FTV Proclad International Ltd

FTV Proclad International Limited specialise in providing integrated corrosion resistant clad solutions for HPHT and sour service environments. Our expertise in Weld Clad Overlay, Machining, Inspection and Fabrication, provides a total turnkey package for Subsea Manifold Equipment, X-Tree Flowloops, Dynamic and Static Riser applications, Flowlines and Pipelines. Our 25 years’ experience in weld clad products, including engineering design and full project management, ensure our client requirements can be handled from early engineering support, material procurement, all the way through to final onsite installation support, offering a “one stop shop” for all our client base. The automated protective clad surfacing systems apply high integrity corrosion resistant alloys, including Inconel 625 and 825, Alloy C276 and C22, 300 and 400 series Stainless Steels. This is to a variety of substrates such as Carbon Manganese, Low Alloy, Martensitic and Ferric Stainless Steels in sizes from 2” (50mm) and above, and approx wall thickness of 0.43” (11mm) and above. This CRA clad process is proved to significantly enhance the service life of new components and cladding material types and thicknesses can be selected to meet the service environment. Every component part of a pipeline system can be clad.

Dawson Downie Lamont

Dawson Downie Lamont design and manufacture Reciprocating Pumps in accordance with API 674 and the Hydraulic Institute Standard for the oil & gas, petrochemical and marine industries worldwide.

With over 100 years of experience in pump technology, DDL offer wide ranging expertise in the pumping of various liquids. Dawson Downie pumps can be found in refineries worldwide covering a wide variety of applications from Slops Recovery to Flare Drum Knockout duties. DDL are also one of only a few companies worldwide that specialise in the manufacture of Direct Acting Steam / Gas Driven Reciprocating Pumps.

Proclad Induction Bending

Proclad Induction Bending LTD was founded in 1985 as Induction Bending Services Ltd (IBS). Originally based in Newton Aclyiffe, the company moved to Sunderland where it rapidly expanded to become the leading induction bending company in the UK with four bending machines covering sizes 2" to 42".

The company continued to trade as IBS until 2001 when it was acquired by the Proclad Group. 

Proclad Induction Bending Ltd continued in Sunderland until mid-2005. The plant was then relocated to our already established premises in Glenrothes, due to the expiration of the lease. 

After relocating to the Glenrothes facility, we increased the size range to 42", added shot blasting facilities, and more recently, a heat treatment plant. 

The company is now perfectly placed to handle contracts of all sizes, and has the ability to offer fast track deliveries, and major long term contracts.

Proclad International Forging Ltd

Proclad International Forging Ltd, part of the world wide Proclad Group specialises in high-quality forged components, mainly for the oil and gas industries. From our Livingston base, components are manufactured and supplied for use both to our customers and for use throughout the Proclad group - allowing us to offer a turnkey package to all.

Since the 1980's the company has been manufacturing low-volume, highly-specialised carbon steel and alloy steel fittings for a demanding industry. Our experience has been gained over the years on a product range which has had to be designed and built to operate in harsh conditions with a lifespan of up to 20 years or more.

Where non-standard products are required we have the capability to meet these demands. Our key strengths are that we can fast track where necessary, from inception to delivery can take as little as a few days, although our standard turnaround time is 3-6 weeks.

Proclad Heat Treatment

The History of the company is comparatively new as can be demonstrated by our equipment; however the depth of knowledge of the heat treatment team combined covers an impressive 60 years within the industry.

The instrumentation is calibrated every three months to ensure its accuracy when controlling and recording the heat treatment cycles. The furnaces are surveyed every 12 months in accordance with the API 6A Appendix H or Norsok requirements to ensure that there is minimal furnace temperature variation across the hearth.

Scheduling for heat treatment can be tricky, however, where the soak times allow, the company endeavour to provide a service that turns around the material within 48 hours of receipt at the plant as demonstrated by the current performance figures monitored by ourselves & our major customers.

This is facilitated by a full time dedicated shop floor and office workforce that ensure a smooth flow of the work from off loading, through the furnaces, then fully certified back to the client.

Dawson Downie Lamont patternshop

Dawson Downie Lamont is now based in Glenrothes and has been for the last 20 years. It isn’t every Glenrothes company that can claim a proud history stretching back all of 100 years but that’s exactly what Dawson Downie Lamont can claim. The engineering company marked its centenary in 2005.

The company was founded in Glasgow in 1905 to supply the then thriving shipyards on the River Clyde with pumps and its success caused a move to bigger premises in Clydebank a few years later. During the forties the company made munitions and also diversified into pump making for the oil industry, a move which was to prove astute given the development of that sector in the years ahead. Its ability to diversify was particularly useful when the decline of the shipbuilding industry prompted the move to Glenrothes in 1996.

Diversity is one of the keys to DDL’s longevity, and not content with their success in pump manufacture they have also built a successful business in the design and construction of customized cases and packaging for the transportation of industrial products worldwide and also pattern making for industrial castings. Dawson Downie Lamont can boast both a fine heritage and a thoroughly modern service.

Since the move to Glenrothes in Fife working in a thriving industrial estate Dawson Downie took advantage of its years’ experience in the packaging sector and started to offer packing solutions firstly to all the heavy engineering companies and over the years has offered companies all over various sectors packing solutions and now have a thriving business in this sector.
